Partner Success / Account Manager at Startup Grind

You’re a multitasker and want the chance to own projects from start to finish. You are highly organized and have an acute attention to detail.

The Role - The Partner Success team focuses on the fulfillment of Partnership deliverables and conference sponsorships that support our Partner’s marketing efforts. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Sales, Community, and Events teams to deliver positive results for our Partners that lead to retention and renewal.  

As Partner Success / Account Manager, in addition to the responsibilities below, you will travel to Redwood City, CA in February, working as the main point of contact for sponsors on-site at our 2022 Global Conference.

The day-to-day of this role includes, but is not limited to:
  • Interfacing regularly with Partners through email, phone, and Zoom for kickoff calls and check-ins to review fulfillment needs, aiming to ensure an 80+% renewal rate on all partnerships year-on-year
  • Tracking data and metrics against deliverables throughout a sponsorship or campaign, preparing for monthly reviews and Partner recaps
  • Ensuring deliverables are met, expectations are clear and met, and all parties are satisfied - both year-long and on-site for events/conferences
  • Organizing proposals, contracts, and invoices to keep the Partner Success platforms (on Airtable) up-to-date
  • Creating and owning highly organized deliverables calendars & documents for all Partners 
  • Collaborating with the Marketing Team to lead campaigns and community marketing efforts in order to drive leads, conversions, and continuously add value for our Partners
  • Representing the voice of our Startups and Partners across the company and influence business leaders to drive continual company-wide improvements

  • 1-3 years Account Management or Customer Success experience preferred
  • US timezone. We work remotely across 12+ countries but a US timezone is preferred
  • Past startup experience or familiarity with the startup environment
  • Events experience
