The Customer Service Representative handling calls about Long Term Care Insurance Policies - customers that have or need to file a claim for rehab or nursing home assistance, etc. Most calls are with customers between 50 - 100 years of age. HIGH EMPATHY AND PATIENCE are required in all candidates.
Reps will be taking about 40 inbound calls per day regarding employee insurance.
Calls will be general customer service questions regarding insurance policies, updating account information, updating on a claim filed, updating beneficiaries, etc.
Ability to show high empathy and patience to customers the client offers supplemental insurance such as cancer policies and long-term care. The client is expecting a surplus of calls regarding the letters they have sent out to their customers about their premiums increasing.
They will have 6 weeks of training and new start classes every 8 weeks.
They are on 5 different systems so someone who is good with computers is needed.

Call Center experience preferred
Insurance experience preferred, not required
Strong computer skills (must have average typing score on ProveIt)
Good tenure (no job hoppers)
